CarLog

Features

A fuel log that tells you something.

CarLog turns the refuelings you record into honest numbers: real consumption per fuel, what you spend, and how it changes over time.

Fuel consumption tracking

CarLog works out your real consumption in L/100 km (or per 100 mi) from your odometer readings and the fuel you put in.

  • Consumption appears after two refuelings of the same fuel. Until then, CarLog shows “Not enough data” instead of a guessed number.
  • Full-to-full intervals give the most accurate figure. Values based on partial fills are labelled as estimates.
  • Each fuel is calculated separately, so petrol and LPG never get mixed into one misleading average.

Refueling history

Every refueling is kept in a clean history, grouped by month, with the amount, cost, odometer and consumption.

  • Tap a record to edit it, or delete it after a confirmation. Statistics are recalculated automatically.
  • Partial fills are clearly marked, and each record can carry an optional note, such as the station or the trip.
  • CarLog checks your input and warns about unusual values, such as an odometer lower than a previous record or a likely duplicate.

Fuel statistics & charts

See this week, month or year at a glance: distance, fuel used, average consumption, total spent and cost per kilometre.

  • A consumption-over-time chart shows one line per fuel; hollow points mark estimated values.
  • The dashboard summarises your average consumption, this month’s fuel cost and your latest refueling.
  • Costs are shown in the currency you choose when you set up your car.

Gasoline & LPG support

Filled up both petrol and LPG at the same stop? Record them as one refueling, each with its own liters, price and “Full tank” switch.

  • Petrol and LPG cars can log both fuels; consumption and costs are reported per fuel.
  • Diesel cars, hybrids (fuel and electricity) and electric cars (kWh) are supported as well.
  • Fuel totals are calculated for you from the liters and the price per liter.
